Cannon Beach Cooking Tour
A Cannon Beach, Oregon wine and cooking tour started out as a Wine Walk benefit for the Children's Center in Cannon Beach, but has expended into a four-day event. The tour features wine, food and cooking activities that offer something for all tastes. Wine tastings, dinners and a wine walk through art galleries and stores are just a few of the activities scheduled.
The festival is still a Children's Center benefit, although it is now city-wide. A feature even is the Oregon vs. Washington Wine Throwdown, where participants will taste red and white wines from both states and choose their favorites. The EVOO Cannon Beach Cooking School will also be offering interactive wine and dinner events, and Newmans at 988 is preparing an organic farmers lunch. The Winter Wine Tour will allow attendees to sip regional wines at about 25 Cannon Beach businesses with the purchase of a wine glass.
