Food Travel To New York Restaurant Chicken Wars

Abdul Haye is the owner of five New York Restaurants where many have done a food travel tour to, under the name of Kennedy Friend Chicken brand KFC. He is angry and he's not going to take it anymore, as the success of his franchise has spawned hundreds of imitators, most within the Afghan-American community. Mr. Haye claims to fry the best bird in town, using a secret recipe that has never been written down. He is so proud of his chicken that he secured a trademark from the US Patent Office to protect his Kennedy brand.
So with patent in hand, he is prepared to wage war on the copycats. He immediately sent out over 300 letters to all the copy-cat Kennedy outlets, insisting they pay him a monthly franchise fee or face legal action. While lamb is the meat of choice back in Afghanistan, Afghan-Americans have really taken to the chicken, so much so that there are hundreds of chicken outlets throughout New York owned by and employing thousands of Afghan-Americans. Plates of fried chicken are even served at local mosques after Friday prayers.
