Some tourists like to go on holidays to see the monuments of a country. Others like to enjoy the festivals and cultural events of a particular place. However, there are also special tourists who like the taste of travel.
Food Holidays in Cyprus, for instance, can stimulate the taste buds of travelers as they dine on a wide range of Cypriot cuisines. The typical diet in Cyprus is distinctly a Mediterranean diet, filled with fresh fish from the Mediterranean Sea, olive oil, olives, fresh fruits, salads and vegetables.
Most meals in Cyprus are accompanied with bread, which is usually added with dips. The dips normally comprise of hummus, aubergine or tzatziki. The tzatziki dip is a unique dip that includes yoghurt, mint, garlic and shredded cucumber. Traditional Cyprus food also includes lots of meat, such as lamb, chicken and pork. The meat is often eaten with potatoes, rice, pasta or beans.

Turkey is well renowned as a country that fuses both European and Asian influences. The richness of Turkey is evident in its culture, people and history. Not only that, Turkey also offers a delicious array of cuisines that you can enjoy during your All Inclusive Holidays in Turkey.
One of the best areas to go to in Turkey for eating well is the city of Istanbul. The city offers a number of medium priced to very cheap food options. The staple Turkish food that many tourists want to try is the kofte and kebab. This is typically reasonably priced and can be very delicious.
Nonetheless those who travel to Turkey for the food, may want to spend a little bit more than usual in order to savor the best cuisine that the country has to offer. There are some top restaurants with high quality chefs that fuse Asian and European styles. These can be unique experiences but the food is usually more expensive.

A Cannon Beach, Oregon wine and cooking tour started out as a Wine Walk benefit for the Children's Center in Cannon Beach, but has expended into a four-day event. The tour features wine, food and cooking activities that offer something for all tastes. Wine tastings, dinners and a wine walk through art galleries and stores are just a few of the activities scheduled.
The festival is still a Children's Center benefit, although it is now city-wide. A feature even is the Oregon vs. Washington Wine Throwdown, where participants will taste red and white wines from both states and choose their favorites. The EVOO Cannon Beach Cooking School will also be offering interactive wine and dinner events, and Newmans at 988 is preparing an organic farmers lunch. The Winter Wine Tour will allow attendees to sip regional wines at about 25 Cannon Beach businesses with the purchase of a wine glass.
